Divorces..

So why do parents get divorced so late if things arent going right for a while? Is it because they think staying together for longer can maybe fix the broken relationship? Or how about the famous excuse we stayed together for the children”. Have they actually sat down to realize what the bickering back and forth for such a long period of time can really do to a kid? In my case I look at myself to be lucky; I have three sisters and a best friend to always help me out when things really got rough with my parents divorce. Divorces can be one of the hardest things on a kid, especially my age. We have enough to worry about with school, boyfriends and girlfriends, friends, and just trying to find out whom we really are. These are the years that, in my opinion, mean the most. We have to start worrying about colleges and everything else that call effect our future. At times like this why should we have to worry about how much money one wants from another? Or what they need to have because of the sentimental value it has for them. I dont think parents know how hard it is for kids to go through a divorce. In my personal opinion, if things arent working out and feelings are obviously not as strong as they used to be, get the divorce then, dont make the children suffer just as long as you are because even though they ay not show it, it hurts them just as much, if not more.
